Students studied famous artist Wayne Thiebaud and his paintings of food, particularly desserts in pastel colors arranged in linear patterns.
 His work was inspiration for students' mixed media pieces.
The piece directly below using discarded papers, acrylic, crayon, pastel and a variety of small objects, is Anne Moore's example.

Private and Semi-Private Art Lessons
focus on the individual student's abilities, experience, and  interests with instruction in drawing basics and advanced drawing,  water based painting techniques, ink work, bas-relief sculpture, collage, assemblage, and use of various materials.  Historical art works are incorporated in lessons as well as emphasis on elements and principals of design and particularly on using various discarded materials.

Where: Private and semi-private lessons can be given in the student's home with a $5 added fuel charge. 

Fee: One hour private instruction - four times per month - $160 paid monthly,  includes all materials

One and a half hours four times a month - $230, paid monthly, includes all materials


Semi-private art lessons for 2 to 3 students, similar in age and abilities. Initial assessment is made of the students' interests and experience with focus of lessons' content similar to private art lessons
